Description: 

Idiom Rodanico Blend:

A strong, full-bodied cuveé of Shiraz, Mourvédre and Viognier. Aromas of juniper berries, with hints of lavender and cloves. A wine with a good structure, fine tannins and good aging potential.

After being combined, the Shiraz and Mourvedre parts mature together for 12 months in 40% American and 60% French oak barrels. The Viognier portion fermented in oak barrels is then added.

- Other products of Idiom		In 1998, the Italian-born and successful banker Roberto Bottega founded the Idiom winery. He runs the winery together with his family. Its 40 hectares of Da Capo Vineyards are located at an altitude of approximately 200-350 m above sea level. NN on the back of the Helderberg in close proximity to Sommerset West and False Bay. This location is the southeasternmost corner of the Stellenbosch wine-growing region. Surrounded by the mountains and a picturesque backdrop, the Tasting & Visitor Center overlooks the entire False Bay. First-class cuisine and the winery's top wines round off the enjoyment to perfection!
